Venice, Italy

Engineering Feasability Studio 2001

New Building

The study concerned the establishment of a receptive-hotel structure in a very suggestive lagoon area, which could guarantees easy connections with the mainland, Venice and the islands. The project reuses and enhances existing buildings in the area complemented by elements of completion. The sighting posts of the project are represented by three towers: around the first one develops the main body of the hotel, open all year round. The second one is the hinge of the most summery area, the third one is the reception point. The shores towards the lagoon are organized and equipped to enjoy the natural relationship with the water; the park, an important safeguard zone of the island, is organized to allow controlled use.
